Shawn Mendes Has Finally Revealed His Current Relationship Status

 Canadian celebrities are always loved more by fans back at home because there is a certain pride that comes with being from Canada. Whether it's an actor like Ryan Reynolds, an athlete like Sidney Crosby, or an international pop star like Justin Bieber, we love our fellow Canadians. 

While a little newer to the scene, Canadian singer Shawn Mendes is no different. In fact, the 20-year old musician from Pickering, Ontario has played for the Queen of England and recently won Artist of the year at the iHeartRadio’s MMVAs, plus a 2018 JUNO.

The Canadian singer recently spoke to Variety in a new tell-all interview where he revealed some interesting details about his life. Not only did he talk about his most embarrassing moment which had an A-list celebrity in attendance, he also spoke about who he's dating currently. 

Mendes rose to fame after posting covers on Vine before he was discovered in 2014. Since then, the musician from Pickering has been skyrocketed to success.

Lucky for him, Mendes was given the opportunity to play at the Quebec City Summer Festival in July when his most embarrassing moment happened. In the middle of his song "Mercy", the singer jumped off a platform and ended up wiping out hard.
